TERMS OF SERVICE FOR STROKERS

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY. BY DOWNLOADING, ACCESSING, OR USING STROKERS (“THE APP”), YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS OF SERVICE (“TERMS”). IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT USE THE APP.

  1. OVERVIEW
    Strokers (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides a mobile application that allows users to track golf rounds, scores, statistics, social activity, and optional subscription features. These Terms govern your access to and use of the App.

  2. ELIGIBILITY
    You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 18, you may use the App only with consent from a parent or legal guardian.

  3. USER ACCOUNT
    3.1 Sign in with Apple
    To use the App, you must authenticate through Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3.2 Accurate Information
You agree to provide accurate and complete profile information and to update it as needed.

3.3 Account Security
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

  1. USE OF THE APP
    4.1 License
    We grant you a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

4.2 Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App

  • Attempt unauthorized access to any systems or data

  • Upload harmful, obscene, defamatory, or illegal content

  • Harass, impersonate, or harm other users

  • Use automated systems to interact with the App

4.3 User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit (rounds, photos, scores). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use it for operating and improving the App.

  1. SOCIAL FEATURES
    5.1 Visibility
    When you connect with friends, they may see your rounds, scores, statistics, profile information, and live activity, depending on your settings.

5.2 Shared Rounds
If you join a shared or group round, your data may be visible to participants in that session.

  1. PAID FEATURES AND SUBSCRIPTIONS
    6.1 Strokers Pro
    Certain features may require a paid subscription (“Strokers Pro”).

6.2 Payment Processing
All payments, renewals, trial periods, and cancellations are handled exclusively by Apple through your Apple ID. We do not access or store payment information.

6.3 Billing and Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled in your Apple ID settings at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

6.4 Refunds
Refunds are handled solely by Apple under its policies.

  1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
    All content, trademarks, logos, designs, software, and materials within the App are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

  2. PRIVACY
    Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and process your information. By using the App, you consent to those practices.

  3. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
    The App may include integrations or data from third parties (e.g., Apple, Supabase, mapping providers). We are not responsible for the actions or content of third-party services.

  4. TERMINATION
    We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, for:

  • Violations of these Terms

  • Fraud, abuse, or suspicious activity

  • Legal or security concerns
    You may stop using the App at any time. Deleting your account will be handled through the App settings.

  1. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
    THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
    WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES ABOUT:

  • AVAILABILITY OR RELIABILITY OF THE APP

  • ACCURACY OF GOLF DATA, COURSE INFORMATION, OR STATISTICS

  • FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
    YOUR USE OF THE APP IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

  1. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
    TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR:

  • INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES

  • LOST SCORES, DATA, OR PROFITS

  • ANY DAMAGES EXCEEDING FIFTEEN U.S. DOLLARS ($15), EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES
    Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so these may not apply to you.

  1. INDEMNIFICATION
    You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of:

  • Your use of the App

  • Your content

  • Your violation of these Terms

  • Your violation of any laws or rights of third parties

  1. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
    We may update these Terms occasionally. We will notify you by updating the “Last Updated” date, posting the changes in the App, or sending a push notification. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

  2. GOVERNING LAW
    These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes must be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
